Dear readers ! Assalamo Aliakum
Waqf is a voluntary, permanent, irrevocable dedication of a portion of ones wealth
– in cash or kind – to Allah. Once a waqf, it never gets gifted, inherited, or sold.
It belongs to Allah and the corpus of the waqf always remains intact. The fruits
of the waqf may be utilised for any shari'ah compliant purpose. A Waqf is our Capital
Gift or Benevolent Loan and dedication to Allah in the form of a charitable endowment.
Its income should be spent on a need or priority basis. Around 15000 waqf estates
are in Madhya Pradesh which consist more than one lack waqf properties dedicated
by our parents. As a Muslim it is our moral duty to protect these properties from
encroachments and to generate more income from these waqf properties for the betterment
of the Muslim community effectively. The Records of the Madhya Pradesh State Waqf
Board under the Project of Waqf Record Computerization, Ministry of Minority Affairs,
have been digitized and online waqf records computerized is under progress, it is
humbly requested to all of you that please co-operate us to complete this project
by giving the information relating encroachment or any waqf estate left to be registered
in this board.
